You have the opportunity to preach. The desire to preach is there. There’s a good chance you have training in teaching and preaching. So, it’s not that you need the basics of preaching all over again. You might just need a Preaching Boost.
But… sometimes you feel stuck in your preaching. You’re unsure how to break through to the freshness of preaching again. What you really need is… a boost!

That’s what Preaching Boost is!
When you feel frustrated or lost in your preaching and teaching, Preaching Boost is a resource designed to hep you. This is a place where you will find fresh ideas and best practices to help you develop and preach biblical, thoughtful, and meaningful sermons.
Who’s Behind Preaching Boost?

My name is Fritz Below. Over the last two decades, I have been preaching weekly and leading/planting churches . Currently, I lead a growing church in Hancock County, Ohio that launched in 2017 with 35 people. Today, I teach regularly across two locations of 600 people.
I know how challenging it can be to prepare and communicate a sermon week in and week out. You and I face similar pressure every day.
I also feel the frustration when I read books written by preachers of yesteryear who lived in a different time and culture or by pastors of extremely large churches. While their content is good, I struggle to relate to them.
That’s Why Preaching Boost Is Different
The average church in America is around 100 people on a Sunday morning, not 10,000. I am grateful for my brothers and sisters who are leading at such large capacities. The reality is: that’s not me. While the total attendance of my church is a few hundred, most of our services are closer to 200.
You and I are not so different from each other. I have a deep desire to help those who step into the excellent and high calling of communicating the truth of scripture to others through preaching.
Another way that Preaching Boost is different is that it’s not just me. 70% of my teaching development is done in the context of a team. A team plans our annual preaching calendar. Each sermon series is developed by a team. A team meets every week to brainstorm the teaching three weeks out. Every Thursday, a team meets for a sermon run-through before Sunday. We also have a team of teachers we’re training and releasing into ministry.
I will never go back to preparing a sermon alone. By the way, over half of the people on these teams – they’re volunteers: dog trainers, medical stenographers, stay at home moms, business owners, fire suppression contractors and even retired people.
